Recycle Minnesota Single Stream Recycling in Lakeville, MN

Recycle Minnesota

Single Stream Recycling increases recycling and makes recycling more convenient

How it all started

Recycle Minnesota opened in Lakeville, MN in August of 2014 to offer a recycling processing option in the south metro area of the Twin Cities. Our 40,000 sq. ft. facility processes 25 tons per hour of single stream recyclables and direct bale for delivered source separated recyclables. Initially, recyclable material from its affiliate hauling company Dick’s Sanitation fed Recycle Minnesota, soon other area haulers from a wider area around the region began to deliver to Recycle Minnesota. This facility supports Dick’s Sanitation’s sustainability efforts by decreasing the transportation costs and carbon foot print of delivering recyclables for processing.

Late in 2019 Recycle Minnesota opened a Transfer station and expanded it's processing facility with an addition of 21,000 square feet. The new addition includes a public drop off center for local residents and businesses, making it a convenient disposal and recycling option locally.

The addition included processing equipment upgrades that includes a commercial recycle stream line and a new baler.
